In this video coach Simon breaks down some of the main differences between the Roger Federer and Pate Sampras serves.
Two of the biggest differences are:
1. Sampras stretches the left side of his body much more than Federer in the trophy position, Federer is much straighter in that position
2. Sampras uses more of a snap finish with his elbow bending very quickly after contact whereas Federer has a much more extended arm on the follow through
Sampras also rotates a little more in the trophy position.
